About us: The Callisto was originally formed on November 10th, 1998, as an online chapter of the short-lived International Battlestar Galactica Fan Club. Originally a BSG revival Club, we have now turned our attention to preserving the nostalgia surrounding the Original BSG series. Our main purpose is to keep the memory and ideas of the Original Battlestar Galactica alive! We accomplish this with our organized Chats in the Officers Club, and LITE RPG on our game board. Our Rag-Tag RPG fleet is composed of Battlestar Galactica fans from all over the world, but most are here in the U.S.A. To sign up for our RPG click here.
We have friends and members in England, Germany, Brazil, Australia, Amsterdam and Canada. We pride ourselves on our international membership and the friendships we have established here At the Callisto. Any questions can be answered in our Frequently Asked Questions section.
In the summer of 1999, the idea was circulated among the members to ask Anne Lockhart herself if she would accept the title of Honorary Commander of the Callisto. In October 1999, she accepted the position and took honorary command of the Callisto with the rank of Commander. Anne occasionally provides us with behind-the-scenes information on current projects she is working on and has answered personal questions which Callisto members submitted to her.
